Attendant & Personal Care Services
At Accredited Home Care Services we specialize in providing assistance with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, companionship, assistance to medical appointments, medication reminders, exercise, and activity.
We are experienced in assisting elderly clients who need help with activities of daily living, those with Alzheimer's/Dementia, stroke, multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's; cancer/oncology and hospice patients; pediatric patients; patients recovering from back, knee, hip, gynecological, urological, general, heart or plastic surgery; and, mental or physical
developmentally disabled. Our professional services are provided by experienced certified home health aids. We can provide these services at home, hospital, or resident care facility.
At Accredited, we employ a well trained staff and take responsibility for providing insurance, bonding, and Worker's Compensation. All of our staff are CPR certified, undergo reference and criminal background checks, and attend new employee orientation and safety training. Additionally, we withhold and deposit all state and federal payroll taxes. By doing so, we remove the family or client from any potential liability or unexpected legal/financial considerations.
Accredited Home Health Services is a Medicare Certified and a Medi-Cal Certified Home Health Agency.
Home Health Care services are covered by Medicare if the following 4 conditions are met:
- A physician determines that home health care is needed.
- The patient is confined to home
- The Home Health Care Agency participates in Medicare
The patient needs certain types of care, including part-time skilled nursing care, physical or speech therapy
We Provide:
Skilled Nursing - RNs and LVNs - Patient Self-Care Education - Wound Care - Injections - Catheter Care - Ostomy Care
Physical Therapists - Provide pain management - individual instruction on home exercise - instruction on activities of daily living, walking, getting out of bed - safe use of walkers/canes - heat, cold and massage therapies
Occupational Therapists - Assist patients in restoring functional independence and self care - improve ability to perform activities of daily living - energy conservation - bathroom safety
Speech Therapists - Assist patients in restoring communication - evaluate swallowing disorders - evaluate and treat speech and language disorders
Medical Social Workers - Perform home assessments to identify social, emotional, financial concerns of family and patient - Help the family to access a variety of community resources
Certified Home Health Aides - Assist patients with grooming, personal hygiene, toileting, provide companionship and assist with other activities of daily living.
